Tube-to-Tubesheet Welding


Cembell specializes in tube-to-tubesheet welding. Does your application require a welding mock-up? No problem. We have completed mock-ups for customers that required it.

Strength Welded Joints
     - Recommended for high stress tube-to-tubesheet joints
     - Recommended for certain process conditions
     - Often requires mock-ups for WPS/PQR approval
     - Cembell has over 70 types of mock-ups for strength welding including:
          Alloy 20, C276, 2205, Monel 400, Nickel 200, AL6XN, 90/10 CuNi
     - Approved mock-up procedure for flush strength weld of Vertical Exchangers

Seal Welded Joints
     - Increased reliability
     - Reduced Maintenance Costs
     - Fewer Process Leaks
     - Common when clad tube sheets are used
     - Recommended for metals that cannot be expanded for a mechanical bond
         > Titanium, Zirconium, Alloy 2205
